I’d love to strangle the Microsoft product manager who thought it was a great idea to add a ‘windows’ key to keyboards. I’ve known a few people over the years who make good use of it, but for the most part no one does and gamers loathe it because an inadvertent keypress equals being dumped out of your game, which in the best case means death in game and the in the worst crashes because the game doesn’t like being switched out to the windows desktop.
Enter Logoless, a free little taskbar utility to control the behavior of the windows key. Tiny, inconsequential memory footprint, and no more evil windows key screwing up your game. The only missing feature is the ‘bash MS product manager for inventing the damned thing to begin with’

Long have I hated that key. Even last night while playing RO I managed to hit it. I have cursed it many times, yet, lived with it and never done away with it.
I will look at this tonight though.
