The windows key on your keyboard, and how to kill it

Is there anyone out there who actually likes the windows key on their keyboard? For my part, I hate it - invariably I hit it by accident while I’m playing games and get booted out to the windows desktop, leading to a flurry of cursing and (usually) the loss of life in the gameworld. My recent new computer build reminded me of how useful this registry entry is - if you’re on a windows box and you’d like your windows key/s to stop acting like, well, windows keys, chances are excellent you’ll appreciate the link.

Call me a loser and paint an L on my forehead, but I actually use it at times, though I do agree it is something that was not needed.
My keyboard only has one though. I bet you hit it a lot because you use w,s,a,d for movement in games right? I remap all my movement keys and even invert the mouse ;-)

Yep, I use WASD as a control scheme, and things like crouch, go prone and so on are always clustered right near the damned windows key. I go to duck some guy who’s about to kill me and bam, suddenly I’m looking at the windows desktop and cursing the idiots who invented the windows key. But not any longer ;-)
